Video Submission Terms

When you send us a video through Football Playbook, you give us permission to store it, edit it, and publish it — in whole or in part — on Football Playbook's website, app, and social channels, and in material promoting Football Playbook.

You keep ownership of your footage. This is permission to use it, not a transfer of your rights, and it is not exclusive — you can still post and use the same video anywhere you like.

You confirm that you have the right to share the video with us. That means:

• You recorded it, or you have permission from whoever did.
• You have the permissions your league, school, or organization requires before footage of its games or practices is shared publicly.
• Where the video shows minors, you have whatever parent or guardian permission your league, school, or local rules require for that footage to be published.
• The video doesn't include music, broadcast footage, or other content you don't have the right to share.

We rely on that confirmation. We have no way to verify it ourselves, and we don't give legal advice about what permission you need — if you're unsure, check with your league or organization before you send footage.

Sending us a video is not a guarantee that we will feature it. We look at every submission, and most footage is never published. We may also decline, edit, caption, trim, or add branding to any video we do use.

Uploaded videos are kept in private storage. They are not publicly listed and have no public link. Only authorized Football Playbook staff can open or download an original file, and only to review or edit it.

You can ask us to stop using your video or to delete it at any time by contacting us. We'll remove it from anything we control. We can't always claw back copies already reposted or downloaded by other people on social platforms.
