Draw flag football plays online

Football Playbook makes it easy to draw flag football plays online without complicated diagramming software. Choose your format, position your players, draw routes and watch the entire play animate directly in your browser.

Whether you're coaching 5v5, 6v6 or 7v7 flag football, you can create formations and route combinations that match the way your team actually plays. Move receivers, adjust route breaks, add motion and use real field spacing to build plays your players can understand.

Instead of drawing plays on paper or recreating diagrams every week, Football Playbook gives coaches one place to create, save and organize their flag football playbook — and a growing library of public plays from other coaches to learn from.

Build your flag football playbook

A great flag football playbook should be easy for coaches to create and even easier for players to understand. Football Playbook lets you turn formations, routes, motion and timing into clear visual plays that can be saved and reused throughout the season.

Organize your offensive concepts into groups you actually call — quick game, mesh concepts, sideline throws and red zone looks. Because every play animates, teaching route spacing becomes visual: players see when a receiver clears a defender and where the ball should arrive, instead of guessing from a static diagram. That matters most with younger players, who learn formations faster when they can watch the play run once or twice before repping it.

Coaches also use their playbook to plan practices and build game plans. Pull the six plays you want to install this week, share the concepts with your assistant coaches before you get to the field, and keep your favorite plays saved so a good idea from week two is still there in week nine. When you need something new, browse plays other coaches have made public and adapt a concept to your personnel.

Football wristband play cards you can print

The football wristband builder turns plays you already drew into game-day wrist coach inserts. Pick the plays you want to call, number them, arrange them in the layout that fits your band, and download a printable sheet sized for the real wristband window.

Flag football wristband plays work best when the diagram is simple and the number is easy to find, so the printed cards use thicker routes, larger player markers and clear call numbers. When you need to print football plays for a practice script or a coordinator's copy, you can also download individual plays or export a full playbook as a multi-page PDF. That makes Football Playbook a complete football playbook maker: draw it, save it, print it, call it.

Flag football playbooks for every format

5v5 flag football plays

Five-player offenses live on spacing and timing. Set your center and quarterback, spread three eligible receivers, and build route combinations, motion and quick-game concepts that fit a short field and a fast rush.

Draw a 5v5 play

6v6 flag football plays

An extra offensive player opens up new formations: trips looks, a true slot, or a back who can motion across the formation. Design plays that use the additional receiver to stress defenders horizontally and vertically.

Draw a 6v6 play

7v7 flag football plays

Seven-on-seven allows full route trees and layered concepts. Build flood, mesh and levels combinations, control spacing across the field, and design progressions your quarterback can read on the run.

Draw a 7v7 play

Draw 11v11 and 12v12 football plays

The same visual play designer works for tackle football. Set your offensive line, place the backfield, align receivers and tight ends, then draw route combinations and blocking assignments on a full-depth field. Save complete formations and build out your 11-on-11 install week by week.

Canadian coaches get a true 12v12 surface: a wider field, deeper end zones, wider hashes and a twelfth man aligned as a second slotback, so waggle and pre-snap motion plays diagram exactly the way they are coached.
